125 Years in the USA:Photos  Frances Siedliska as a young woman. A few years after this photo was taken, she founded the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth in 1875. Ten years later, the foundress, Blessed Mary of Jesus the Good Shepherd, arrived in the U.S. with 11 sisters to begin ministering to immigrant families.
