Chaperoning the Class of '70
Date: Jan 22, 2009 Submitted by:
Those were the days -- when the tab for the Senior Class Trip was $90, including airfare, and 30 girls from Nazareth Academy High School in PHiladelpia spent five days in Bermuda with chaperones, including Sr. Lauretta Matusik, resting in the sun on the chaise lounge. "Sr. Lauretta and our other chaperone were two of my favorites," Kathi Pflieger, Class of '70, told us. "I loved and appreciated by high school years at Nazareth Academy." Sr. Lauretta is retired from teaching and resides at Mt. Nazareth, Philadelphia. Kathi and her husband Don own and operate Salty Bay Seafood in Pine Point, ME. (Photo by Kathi Pflieger)
